BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College men's basketball team picked up a convincing 91-65 victory over the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves on Saturday afternoon. The win was Genesee's seventh in their last nine games.
Izick Reaves had a game-high 17 points to lead the Cougars offense. Scotty Lee collected a double-double, scoring 13 points and collecting 14 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks. Keyshaun Murray scored 14 points and dished out five assists. Jerry Ortiz added 10 points for the blue and gold. Damani Hinks had 10 points off the bench. Adonys Villafane scored eight points, while Nick Rodriguez and Elijah Johnson each scored seven points. Said Adam scored five points and collected 11 rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
Genesee will host Hudson Valley Community College on Sunday, February 1 for a 2pm tipoff.
