Cougars Sweep Timberwolves

BATAVIA, NY – The Genesee Women's volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory against SUNY Adirondack in the Region III Play in match, with strong serving and a balanced attack leading the way.
The Cougars' offense was paced by Gabriella Zitz, who led the team with 10 kills. Kylee Kolbash was the most impactful server, tallying 7 service aces.
Setter Ashley Blair was the primary playmaker, recording 28 assists.
On defense, Holly Bykowski led the back row in service receive, while Sloan Jonathan and Kylee Kolbash also contributed to keeping the rallies alive. Zitz was active at the net, recording 2 total blocks.
The team looks to the Region III Semi-Final round against nationally ranked Finger Lakes CC on Saturday, Nov. 11 at FLCC.
