Women's Soccer adds first recruit in Meeks
On November 7th, Natalie Meeks committed to the Genesee Women's Soccer team for the 2026 season. Natalie is a 5'0" outside defender who started 3 years for the Geneva Varsity girls' soccer team, where she was a captain for one of those years. Meeks was awarded the 4-Sport Athlete Award at her school, where she was not only on the soccer team in the fall, but also the cheer team for both fall and winter, as well as flag football in the spring. She plays for the Naples CASL Canandaigua Club Soccer Team as well as coaching youth soccer for ages 3-6. She's very active in her community when it comes to acts of service and is a member of the National Honor Society. Natalie plans to major in Criminal Justice.
Natalie comes to our team from the same area as freshmen, Abby Hall. "We have started to hone in on and recruit more out of this area of Western NY, because the girls always have grit and strong work ethic," stated Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt. Abby Hall appeared in all 19 games this fall and started in 8 of them. She recorded 8 goals and 7 assists for the cougars this season. "We're excited to see what Natalie can do and we know she will fit right in with this incoming team", said Jeff.
Jeff and Assistant Coach Macy have been meeting with a lot of recruits and have some more commitments coming up. The Cougars ended their 2025 season in the National Tournament with a 13-4-2 record, where they ended up 4th in the country overall.
