BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team are on a four-game winning streak, after dominating the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves 96-14 on Saturday afternoon.
Julia Knight had a game-high 24 points coming off the Cougars bench. Knight finished the contest with a double-double, collecting 15 rebounds and had two steals. Jaimin Macdonald scored 16 points, with eight rebounds and two assists. Kiara van der Jagt added 11 points for the blue and gold, with six assists, three steals, and five rebounds. Emmi Veras scored nine points, while Sydney Reilly, Seneca Calderon, and Alivia Wolf all scored eight points apiece. Felix Espada and Elle Peterson each added six points.
Genesee will host Hudson Valley Community College on Sunday, February 1 for a noon tipoff.
