Game 1:

Genesee Baseball fell to the Erie CC Kats 10-6 on Tuesday. Erie took an early lead in the first inning on a three-run home run and extended their advantage through the third, capitalizing on several hits and a Genesee error.

The Cougars' offense produced nine hits, led by Davey, who went 3-for-4 at the plate. Yageric also contributed, finishing 2-for-4. Despite the loss, the Genesee bullpen provided a strong performance; Fitzpatrick threw four innings of relief, allowing zero earned runs and striking out six batters.

Davey took the loss on the mound, while Erie's Gold earned the win after five innings of work.

Game 2: 

The Genesee Cougars defeated the Erie CC Kats 4-1 on Tuesday, backed by a strong performance on the mound and an early offensive surge. Genesee took control in the first inning, scoring three runs on a Yageric single, a sacrifice fly from Davey, and a groundout by Emara.

Richards earned the win with a dominant complete-game performance. He allowed only one run on five hits over seven innings to keep the Erie offense in check. The Kats' only run came from a solo home run in the second inning.

The Cougars' offense was a collective effort, with Davey, Robertson, Emara, Higgins, Yageric, Savage, and Flak each recording a hit. Davey, Emara, Yageric, and Flak all contributed with an RBI to seal the victory.

Baseball will travel just down the road to Monroe Community College to take on the Tribunes for a double header on Thursday, 4/16.
