Cougars Extend Win Streak to Four; Drop Jefferson on the Road on Sunday

The No. 4 Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team increased its winning streak to four games in a row on Sunday with a 23-3 win on the road at Jefferson Community College.

The Cougars had 13 different goal scorers in the game with Cyrus Spruce leading the way with four goals and six assists. Jacob Bomberry also tallied four goals and had three assists, Cameron Seneca and Jimmy Smith each recorded three goals and Drew Horton added a pair of goals.

Cory Luty and Brian Thielman each played a half in net and combined to make two saves.

Ray Tague went 8 for 9 on face-offs, Mike Caternolo was 7 of 10 and Colton Reformat went 5 of 7.

Alex Henry led the defense with four groundballs and three takeaways.
Genesee (7-3) will begin a two-game home stand this week on Wednesday against Broome Community College. Face-off is set for 7 p.m.
