Barker Signs LOI with Genesee Baseball

BATAVIA, NY… Carson Barker signed his Letter of Intent (LOI) to play first and third base for Genesee baseball. The Alliston, Ontario native also plays football and hockey. Carson will be a Sports Management major when he arrives on campus in the fall. Barker was a 2017 Ontario Baseball Association Champion.

Barker would like to be a baseball coach when he gets older. Carson’s father is his role model because “he would carry the world for me.” “Carson is a hard worker both on and off the field and he will be a good fit for our program”, comments Genesee head coach Skip Sherman.

The Cougars are energized and ready for the 2019 season to begin. The season will begin with the annual trip for Spring Training in March. For the complete baseball schedule, head to
