The sixth-ranked Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team will continue its three-game road trip on Saturday afternoon when the Cougars visit the Community College of Baltimore County-Essex, the no. 2 team in the country.
Genesee (2-1) fell four spots in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Poll after losing to SUNY Delhi on March 8th. The Cougars were tied with Nassau Community College at the no. 2 spot in last week's poll.
CCBC-Essex (1-1) lost its only game of the year to no. 1 Onondaga Community College 16-8 on March 8th.

Genesee bounced back from its loss to SUNY Delhi to defeat Howard Community College on Thursday afternoon, 6-5. Mitch Kinney scored two man-up goals for GCC, including the game-winner late in the fourth quarter. Craig Seneca made 17 saves in net and Pete DiLaura had nine takeaways and six ground balls.
CCBC-Essex beat Northern Virginia Community College at home on March 11th 18-5 to earn its first victory of the season.
What to watch for:
The all-time series between Genesee and CCBC-Essex is tied 1-1.
The Cougars defeated the Knights 15-14 in double-overtime last year at home.
