The Genesee Community College athletics department will offer a number of sports camps this summer, including softball, volleyball, swimming, soccer and a soccer camp specifically for goalkeepers.
Boys and girls ages 12-17 are invited to attend a soccer goalkeeper camp that will take place every Sunday from June 28th – July 26th. The camp will be held on the GCC turf field and will cost $50. GCC women’s head soccer coach Jeff Reyngoudt will be joined by Maddie Potter (former GCC goalkeeper and NJCAA All-American) and Maddy Evans (Seton Hill starting goalkeeper) and the camp will focus on all aspects of the game with the keepers and include lots of individual attention. Players will be placed according to age (based on numbers). This creates a healthy, challenging, learning environment for each player. The sessions are serious and intense, but will never lose sight of the fact that soccer is a game and player’s enjoyment is the number one priority. For more information contact Coach Reyngoudt: email@example.com.
The women’s soccer program will host a camp for girls ages 12-17 on July 27-31. The GCC soccer program believes the "game" is the best teacher and that philosophy will be evident at the camp. Cost is $100 and includes a T-shirt.
